I just logged onto my blog and realized that I haven’t posted since August, it’s November. Seriously Sarah? That is just ridiculous! I have been working I promise. I thought I had posted this fun little tidbit but now I don’t know if I had, I’m pregnant! VERY VERY pregnant! Adam and I will be welcoming a baby girl into our world sometime within the next month and we couldn’t be more excited! I swear I have had more shoots these past couple months than I have ever had. So that would explain the absence, tons of shoots + tons of editing + buying our first house + getting ready for baby = no time to blog! So here is a sneak peak of some of what you’ll be seeing in the next couple of days! I promise to keep everyone posted on baby happenings!

Heather and Tom ~ OBX Wedding

Can I just say I’m in love with shooting in the OBX. I mean sun, beach and a beautiful couple. I just don’t think you could ask for much more! Heather and Tom had a beautiful wedding on a perfect day. Not to hot with a wonderful breeze! Not much more you could ask for! Oh yeah and they chose to do a first look! HEAVEN!

My absence has been a long one! This summer has come and gone with no blog post. What a bad blogger I am. Summer has been crazy busy, I have been crazy busy! Tori and Wesley ~ Wedding!

April Maternity Session

April has known my husband since they were in kindergarten. You may remember her little boy Ethan from a year or so ago. Well she is expecting her second little boy any day now so I guess it would be a good time to finally post her maternity shoot. I was one of the first sunny and warm days of the spring and for some reason I thought we would be able to do some at a park, ha! It was packed so luckily there was some awesome brush/woods right next to the park and I decided that it was the perfect place for the photos. Here are a few of my faves!

A confession

So I have a confession for all of you out there in blog land. It’s patheticembarrasingsad all wrapped up in one. I spend so much time documenting other peoples lives that I RARELY (when I say rarely I mean it) document my own. Do you know when the last photo of me and Adam was taken? August, yes people you heard me right AUGUST of last year! I mean really how sad is that. So a few weeks ago Adam and I took a trip to a store and purchased a point and shoot camera. I want to have tons of photos of us to show our children one day. Even if they are boring who would ever want to sit and look at them photos at least they will know that we did exist before they were in the picture. I am ashamed to admit that I still have let the life capturing fall to the wayside a little but I promise to pick up the slack. I’m going to use this little ole blog to document our lives as well so you can get to know me other than who I am behind the camera. I bet I’m just as fabulous as you ever dreamed of. HA. Anyway, that’s my confession for the day. Maybe I’ll come and just chat more ofter. It’s been real kids:)!

Hillsong London in JoCo!

This past Friday night Hillsong London had their first “show” ever in North Carolina. You would expect for them to go somewhere like Charlotte or even Raleigh but instead they came to C3 Church in Clayton, NC. C3 Church is one of the fastest growing churches in the country, it’s on a former tobacco farm. God moves so much on that former tobacco farm and Friday night was no exception. I’ve never in my life experienced such a moving “show”. I use quotations around the word show b/c it’s not just about the music, they don’t call themselves famous or even claim their talent to be anything exceptional (I strongly disagree) but they instead give all of the glory and thanks to the Lord. The band shared a message and had a time of prayer along with the amazing praise and worship music. I was able to take photos while I was there. Here are some of my favorites!

Sweet Joshua

A few weeks ago I did some 8 month photos of my nephew Joshua. He was sporting his dads outfit from when he was a baby. He already looks just like his dad I would imagine he looks like the spitting image of him as a baby in that outfit! Here are a few from the shoot!

Newborns ~ Liam!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Liam. What a cutie he is. We did the 10 days or younger rule so that you have a sleepy bendy baby. Well he was not happy with me at all for interrupting his morning routine with a silly photo shoot! I’m still so happy with how these turned out! I mean he has so much personality at 10 days it’s amazing! What a gift from God he is! I couldn’t narrow it down more than this so I hope you enjoy these!
