Can I just say I’m in love with shooting in the OBX. I mean sun, beach and a beautiful couple. I just don’t think you could ask for much more! Heather and Tom had a beautiful wedding on a perfect day. Not to hot with a wonderful breeze! Not much more you could ask for! Oh yeah and they chose to do a first look! HEAVEN!
My absence has been a long one! This summer has come and gone with no blog post. What a bad blogger I am. Summer has been crazy busy, I have been crazy busy! Anyways, I’m back with a lot to catch you up on! I’m going to start with this newborn shoot! Little Miss Graylie is adorable and it was a fantastic experience photographing her! Enjoy her sweet 3 week old beauty!

Oh spring light how I’ve missed you.
I had the pleasure of working with Tori and Wesley on their wedding day and it could have been a more beautiful day! Finally I’m getting up some photos for a “sneak peak”. I’m super duper late, and I have good reason BUT you’ll have to wait a little while to see why that is! For now here are some beautiful photos of the lovely Tori and handsome Wesley!
A few weeks ago I did some 8 month photos of my nephew Joshua. He was sporting his dads outfit from when he was a baby. He already looks just like his dad I would imagine he looks like the spitting image of him as a baby in that outfit! Here are a few from the shoot!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Liam. What a cutie he is. We did the 10 days or younger rule so that you have a sleepy bendy baby. Well he was not happy with me at all for interrupting his morning routine with a silly photo shoot! I’m still so happy with how these turned out! I mean he has so much personality at 10 days it’s amazing! What a gift from God he is! I couldn’t narrow it down more than this so I hope you enjoy these!

On our original schedule shoot day the wind blew and it was about 30 degrees so we knew it was best to reschedule. Then it snowed and then it was beautiful and 60. I’m so glad we waited for the weather to be on our side to do these portraits. I really don’t think the day could have been any better. I met Tiffany briefly at Chick Night about a month or so ago and we set up a time to do maternity photos. I haven’t done any maternity shoots in ages so I was a little nervous. All I knew was I wanted to focus on their love for each other and the baby that came from that love. I didn’t want it to be all about the bump. Of course we did some token bump shots but I think overall these will be a fantastic way for them to look back on and remember how much love they have for each other and their baby!

I met Lynn this past fall when I over heard her asking for directions to Enchanting Moments Bridal boutique. You see my studio is practically across the street from there and I was getting ready to head back and work so I offered to show her the way. She was so nice and asked for my card because it seemed a little like it was meant to be. I’m so glad they chose me to be their wedding photographer. I had a chance to get to know Lynn and little better and meet Casey over Christmas when they were in from Chicago.
