Men everywhere take note. Matt contacted me a while back about doing a shoot for his 1 year anniversary with his wife Leigh. She had always regretted not doing a formal engagement session and he wanted to surprise her on the day of their anniversary! I just thought this was the sweetest gift ever! I had such a great time working with them and know the future holds great things for this amazing couple! Here are some of the photo’s from our day of anniversary fun!
So apparently I’m a disappointing blogger. I’ve been trying to get this posted for a couple of weeks now and have done a bad job juggling my schedule! I have some HUGE news coming soon so keep a look out over the next few weeks!
Anyways on to the more important topic! Megan and Eric got married a couple of weeks ago and I had the pleasure of shooting it! I’m so excited to have another wonderful cousin now! I seriously don’t think there are two nicer people on the planet than these two! I hope you guys are having a blast on your honeymoon! Here are a few pics, slideshow is coming soon as well!

You may have noticed all of the !’s after Megan’s name, well that’s because I’m so flippin’ excited to be able to post these! Not only because she’s amazingy gorgeous, hot, sweet, and lovely. As if I need any more reason to love her, now we’re cousins! Eric and Megan got married Saturday! Congrats guys but if your reading this (which I seriously DOUBT IT!!!) get back to your honeymoon! I’m so blessed to be able to do what I love and being able to see such amazing love stories is just icing on the wedding cake.

One of my goals this year was to be published in a magazine. Well I’m very excited that I made that goal thanks to Melissa for submitting her wedding and day after photographs I did for her back in the fall! I was even more excited to find out that my photo was picked for the cover! Here are the photo’s of the magazine!
Boy am I late posting this one! This spring has been a crazy one, but boy have I had some amazing weddings. I wanted to post a few from Jenna and Andrew’s wedding a little over a MONTH ago! I tell ya what, I need someone to blog for me! It just slips my mind sometimes with everything else going on! Not to mention I’m in the process of moving and had a wedding this weekend! YIKES! Here are a few from the wedding, I’ll be posting a few more things this week hopefully so keep your eyes peeled!
Oh my where do I even begin? This wedding was amazing. I knew from the day I met with Meredith it was going to be beautiful. A beautiful bride and a phenomenal venue, it doesn’t get any better than that! Meredith and Parker were married at the Berry Hill Estate in South Boston, VA. I hope that I get to shoot there again one day because I still have a trillion ideas for great shots! If you don’t have a venue I highly recommend this place! It rained on their wedding but never enough to stop us from being outside! I mean goodness knows I’m not sweet enough to melt! Anyways here’s their massive post, I had a really hard time picking out a few so I just picked out a ton! I’ll be posting a slide show soon.

Today I was officially accepted into WPJA! For those of you unfamiliar with this association it is the Wedding Photojournalism Association. I got this description from their website “Leading the way in Wedding Photojournalism, WPJA represents the most discriminating talent around the world technically, creatively and visually. Qualified members hold industry-leading standards, skills and business integrity.”
Once you apply they put your portfolio under review and decide if you meet the qualifications or not. I think I was sweating the entire time the “jury was out”! I’m so grateful to be accepted! What a great way to start out 2009!
While I’m slaving away at the computer trying to get caught up from the holiday’s I thought I would give you guys something fun to look at! Here are a few of my favorite photo’s from 2008!
