Since Shannon and Whitt’s beautiful wedding took place yesterday I thought I would share one of Shannon’s beautiful wedding portraits! I was so happy with how the shoot turned out since it was my first bridal shoot in my new studio!

Men everywhere take note. Matt contacted me a while back about doing a shoot for his 1 year anniversary with his wife Leigh. She had always regretted not doing a formal engagement session and he wanted to surprise her on the day of their anniversary! I just thought this was the sweetest gift ever! I had such a great time working with them and know the future holds great things for this amazing couple! Here are some of the photo’s from our day of anniversary fun!
I have lots and lots of catching up to do this week! On the blog front and the editing front! I’m very very excited that a few of the finishing touches of the studio will be happening this week so I can post pics soon!

I’m so excited to be a part of Shannon and Whitt’s big day in December! They are such a sweet couple, and we have something very important in common, The Carolina Hurricanes! When I got the email from Eliza asking me to do her wedding photography I was so excited! Eliza and I met on the Storm Squad in 2004. She left the team before I did and I haven’t seen her much since she left. She now lives in DC. I’ve always loved Eliza and her bubbly personality! Her and her fiance Rich are two amazing people and I cannot wait until there wedding in October. I was worried about shooting their E. Session b/c it fell on Friday of last week and I was in a pretty bad mood with everything that had happened. I’m so glad we did the session anyways b/c they brightened my day.
I was so excited for Ivey when she called and told me her and Justin had just gotten engaged at her parents beach house. I was even more excited when she asked me to shoot her wedding, then the excitement faded when I found out they had booked a date for next year that I already had booked. At least we have the engagement shoot I thought to myself. Adam and I took a trip to their beach house to do their shoot a couple of weeks ago. I know what your thinking, poor thing she had to go all the way to the beach and spend 2 days on the beach with a few hours of shooting. Here are my favorites of the beautiful couple! I love you Ivey and Justin and I wish I could be there on your wedding day! Oh yeah, did I mention Ivey is my cousin?
I was honored when my cousin Adrian and his fiance Shoshannah asked me to shoot their wedding in March. They are two amazing people and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding! We did an engagement shoot a couple of weeks ago, it rained…I mean it poured! We got kicked out of “kinda” private property, you know we could be terrorist scoping the area. We could have gone and filled out forms to continue but that required us walking through pouring rain so we went to their reception site instead. Here are a few of my favorites! Hopefully we’ll be able to get another shoot in before the wedding, so they can actually sit in some of them!
