April has known my husband since they were in kindergarten.  You may remember her little boy Ethan from a year or so ago.  Well she is expecting her second little boy any day now so  I guess it would  be a good time to finally post her maternity shoot.  I was one of the first sunny and warm days of the spring and for some reason I thought we would be able to do some at a park, ha!  It was packed so luckily there was some awesome brush/woods right next to the park and I decided that it was the perfect place for the photos.  Here are a few of my faves!

Here are a couple of shots from a shoot I did with my nephew and niece a couple of weeks ago. I have to say Joshua looks just like Sophie did at that age!  They are the cutest kids ever, but I’m a little bias I guess:)!

I have known Amanda and John since I was in Elementary school and they have always been two of the sweetest people I have ever met.  I don’t think either of them could hurt a fly.  Seriously.  We got together last week to do an anniversary shoot to celebrate their 2nd year of marriage.  It may only be their second year of marriage but it is their 50 11 millionth year being together, well maybe not that many but they have been together since the 8th grade.  I think that is the awesomest thing ever (yes I know that awesomest isn’t a word but they deserve a made up word in honor of their relationship).  Here are a few of my favorites so far from their shoot.  Be prepared it’s a lot but I couldn’t resist!

This was my first official studio shoot! I have to admit that I was a little nervous but once we started I love every minute of it! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful natural light studio and cannot wait to do more shoots in it! I’m officially open for business so if you want have some awesome studio portraits let me know!

On to the adorable Caylee! She did such and amazing job, she smiled every minute of the shoot. I couldn’t have asked for a better baby! Here are a couple of my favorites that have jumped out at me so far!

My absolute favorite!

I’ve been very absent lately, but I do have a good reason, well I think it’s a fantabulous reason.  I have finally accomplished my dream that has been 8 years in the making!  I am opening a studio in downtown Fuquay Varina.  When I started school 8 years ago this was my goal.  I was burned out after school and then I started focusing strictly on weddings so I kinda let it go for a while.  I always said if only I had a studio but I was just to afraid to take that leap of faith.  Well I was pushed into it but it’s finally complete.  I will post photo’s of the finished product soon I’ve just got to get the canvas’ in and such.  This is very exciting and I’m so thankful for everyone how helped me out to make it happen!  For now heres a peak of my first test run as a natural light studio photographer!

The lighting was provided by the 3 huge windows in the front!  I heart natural light:)!

I love doing photoshoots with this family! They are wonderful to work with, so appreciative, and their children are cute to boot! Here are some photo’s of baby Warner, it was a quick 15 minute photoshoot! I was very happy with what we got! Believe it or not I didn’t do any photoshopping on his amazing eyes! Enjoy!

Meet adorable Benett. I rarely do baby photo’s so I jumped at the chance to shoot Benett when I got the email. I think I found my second calling, baby photography. He is just so sweet and CUTE! Here are a few from our session!

Meet Ethan!  He is the adorable baby of me and Adam’s good friends Philip and April.  If we have a little girl one day Ethan will be her husband, I’m sure of it.  He was such a good sport in the freezing weather even with a runny nose!  Here are a few of my faves!
