I just wanted to take a minute to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! I’ll be back to blogging some of my favorite shots from 2009 next week sometime but I’m pretty sure I’ll be out of the “office” and literally the office until after Christmas!
This was my favorite Christmas card of the year. Stella did such and amazing job and her mom Jessica was a great sport! Thank you guys for giving me a wonderful Christmas shoot!
Yesterday wrapped up my amazing 2009 wedding season! The wedding was beautiful, the weather was well rainy and freezing and Susan and James were so in love. I prayed and prayed and sang for a White Wedding but that wasn’t in the plans for yesterday but it was amazing and there was no need for snow to make this day perfect. Everything went without a hitch, seriously I’ve never had a bride and groom say I knew it would be perfect but I never thought it would be this perfect! At the end of the day a horse (Willy) and carriage came and picked Susan, James and me up for a ride around downtown Raleigh. Of course we stopped for some amazing photo opts at the capital and I thought I would share one with you all since I won’t get around to the blog until after Christmas!

Now that Susan is married I can share a few of her bridal portraits with you guys! I adored her bridal shoot, I think it just may be my favorite studio shoot yet! Here are a few of my favorites!
A few weeks ago I met up with Christine and Bob for the engagement session at Farrington Village. I love this place and cannot wait to shoot there next year! I had so much fun exploring the area and getting to know them a little bit better! Here are a few from the session!
When I was uploading my cards from this weekends wedding I happened upon this stunning photograph of Shannon. I mean she is just the definition of a glowing bride is she not? I couldn’t wait until their sneak peak post to put this one up. I’m going to go out on a limb and say she is one of the most stunning brides EVER. Okay well enough rambling about one picture! Enjoy!

I few weeks ago I had the pleasure of going out to Tori’s family farm in Pittboro to shoot her and Wesley’s engagement session. Talk about tons of awesome places for photographs! I had such a great time working with them and cannot wait until their wedding in April!
Since Shannon and Whitt’s beautiful wedding took place yesterday I thought I would share one of Shannon’s beautiful wedding portraits! I was so happy with how the shoot turned out since it was my first bridal shoot in my new studio!

I met up with Kathryn and Will for their Engagement Session a couple of weeks ago at Yates Mill Pond. It was my first time out there and boy was it packed out with photographers! We had such a good time, they are such a sweet, funny and happy couple! I absolutely cannot wait to shoot their wedding next fall in the mountains! Here are some of my favorites from their session!

Like many other session this fall we had to change our plans due to the rainy weather, but I’m so glad we did! We ended up at Preston which is were both Jackie and Jon grew up and where their reception will be! I had such a good time getting to know these two a little bit better, they are an awesome couple and I cannot wait until June! I have to thank Adam for being an amazing assistant on that rainy Sunday!
I will be out of the studio for the majority of the week (November 16th-November 22nd) b/c my husband and I are moving.
